Will this cable work on a 55” 2013 Samsung tv null

I did use this for my 2018 55" Samsung TV that had an optical audio output located in the rear of the television.

As long as the TV has a fiber optic audio output and the device you want to connect to (i.e. soundbar) has a fiber optic audio input, then yes.
