“Can the backup cam be effectively mounted 4 or 5 feet above street level? I drive a pickup with utility top in the bed. Rear double doors, license plate, and trailer hitch make placing the camera at the license plate level something of a problem. Would there be any drawbacks, operationally, with mounting the camera near the rear roof line and angling it's field of view to pick the area 5-15 ft behind the truck. I plan to use this to hook up several trailers and to avoid hitting poles, trees, and parked vehicles that are out of my field of vision without the camera. I realize this doesn't help me with what's behind the trailer. I usually don't tow the trailer. Al of St. Louis”
