A:Answer I'm not sure exactly what this question is referring to. The AMS unit will accept any filament roll (or at least, I've never seen one it didn't, nor have I ever heard of one it doesnt).
The printer itself can accomdate a range of filament sizes and types. The only real changes that may be needed would be to the nozzle to accommodate specific filament types, but this nozzle handles the temperatures and abbrasian levels of the majority of standard filament types you'd run into unless you are branching off into very niche materials. Even if you were going towards something like carbon fiber infused filaments, there would not be a universal replacement for such a thing.
Functionally, this print has what I would consider the capability to universally accept filaments, as much as any other printer would.
