No, assuming you want to plug in a normal string of lights. The dual-outlets only function when connected to AC. You could use the USB output to power a string of LEDs that were powered by USB (though, I don't know how long the battery would last).

Even then am sure it will not last very long and require a recharge often. I'd suggest a power inverter that plugs from your cigarette lighter/power port and converts DC to AC.
