QuestionIs it normal for the portafilter to be full of water after brewing? When I take out the portafilter, there is still a lot of water on it and it goes all over the place.

- Answer Short answer, no, grind your coffee coarser and it'll fix the problem. Long answer, because of the cheap nature, they anticipate most people buying it are working with pre-ground coffee, and the pressurized basket it comes with helps the water stay in contact longer. Downside of this is over extraction and MUCH higher pressures than needed (9bar is perfect for espresso) which lead to still good, but not amazing espresso

- Answer If you are referring to the filter basket, there is a little notch that you need to line up. The "exit" slot is facing you when the handle is towards you. It's a nice thing to have compared to some that work with compression which makes it very difficult to change. Once you figure this out - it's easy every time.

- Answer CAPFEI 51mm portafilters on amazon fit like a glove. You can get bottomless or 2 spout which increases the amount of coffee you can fit in your basket from 14g (standard that it comes with) to 16g with the bottomless and 18g with the 2 spout.
