- Answer As long as your Yoga has a Mini DisplayPort port, it should work fine. Just match the MDP logo or line-box-line symbol on the male connector of the adapter to a port on your Yoga with the same symbol. If no matches exist on your Yoga, then you need a different adapter. To discover which adapter, check all the ports (places to plug things into) on the left and right sides of the Yoga and look for the symbols. Match any these symbols to other video adapters that are HDMI-to-??? to find the correct one.

- Answer I haven't tested but I think display ports are output only. Also unless your mac is from 2010 or earlier it won't have a port for this adaptor.

- Answer No, this takes display output from a PC and converts it to HDMI. Unless you just need a second monitor for streaming purposes.

- Answer I can't quite tell from a quick image search but it appears that ASUS model has either USB-C or a full size display port, this mini display adapter won't work with either. That HDMI cable should work fine if you find an adaptor that fits in one of your Chromebook's display ports.

- Answer This adapter connects to the mini display port on your computer, and to any HDMI display (e.g. TV, computer monitor, etc.). I am not aware of any phones that have a mini display port.
