• A:Answer Hey Paul, To add the discount code for your membership, follow these steps: Go to your My Best Buy account page. Click on the Subscriptions tab. Under My Subscriptions, click on Manage next to your My Best Buy Total™ Yearly Membership. Under Discount Codes, click on Add Discount Code. Enter the discount code and click on Apply. If the discount code is valid, you will see a confirmation message. Your discount will be applied to your next membership renewal. Hope this helps!

• A:Answer Hi, According to Best Buy's website, they will store your items for up to 30 days after purchase, waiting to be delivered and installed. However, it is best to check with your local Best Buy store to confirm, as this policy may vary depending on location. Can you just keep rescheduling the delivery date several times? Yes, you can reschedule your delivery date several times, but Best Buy does ask that you give them at least 24 hours notice. You can reschedule your delivery date online or by calling Best Buy customer service. Tips for rescheduling your delivery: Be sure to give Best Buy at least 24 hours notice. Have your order number ready when you call or reschedule online. Be prepared to give a reason for rescheduling. Be flexible with your new delivery date. If you need to reschedule your delivery more than three times, Best Buy may charge you a storage fee. Here are some additional things to keep in mind: Best Buy's delivery and installation services are typically scheduled between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Saturday. One of the most popular benefits of Totaltech is free in-home installation of a new TV purchased from Best Buy, when scheduled during the purchase transaction. This includes mounting that new television to the wall, even if you have an existing TV in that spot. We would unmount the existing TV and then put up the new one. You specifically asked about moving the existing TV to another room, and our agents are generally happy to help out with that. If part of that "moving" process includes setting up that old TV in the other room, and/or mounting that existing TV to the wall, that would incur some additional (discounted!) charges, but just moving it would be free. And haul away of an existing TV is also included for free with any TV purchase, for our valued Totaltech members.

Q: QuestionThis is a yearly service. So I will likely pay twice to get that 2 years of coverage. Yes, there are other things included but many are already free. There is also a fee for each claim. Seems smarter to buy the 5 year warranty. Why am I wrong?

• A:Answer Omg. Please read this. It will not. That’s NOT cover you. I spent hours on with them today to get nowhere and ultimately they will charge you to come and diagnose your washer and dryer. Claiming that the repair will be cover once they do. Which is also untrue. Then. If you give up like I did and pay for the call. You will realize that you aren’t even on with someone who can really schedule you. They will tell you someone “should call you within 48 hrs” to see if they can get you onto a schedule with a third party. If you’ve ever been down this road before you know where it’s headed. Save your money and use it when the machine breaks to pay a repair man. Stop giving it to these companies.

Best Buy's standard TV Connect and Mount service includes removing and relocating an existing mount, so you would not need to pay extra for that part of the job you describe. Totaltech members get a 20% discount off services for existing devices (like the 3-year old 55" TV you have). So, that service would discount from the standard fee of $250 down to $200 if you bought a Totaltech membership at the same time. OR (I like this option), find an extra TV you might like to purchase for less than $200 (they exist), purchase that one and a Totaltech membership, and schedule the TV Connect and Mount as you describe at the same time (eg, for the 55"). In home services are free, if scheduled with a corresponding TV purchase, so take that $200 we would charge you for an a la carte service, and get a "free" TV out of it instead.
