Hi, Golds! This is an excellent question. Totaltech members do indeed received an included 2-year protection plan with the purchase of new appliances (like dishwashers). Those plans remain active for the entire time the annual Totaltech membership is kept current. Some of our members decide to purchase a separate 5-year protection plan, and use their Totaltech membership for some of the other benefits that quite easily end up saving them more than the $200 annual membership fee. For example, non members will pay $250 or more (depending on the location in the home) for mounting a new television, while members get that service for free.
