- Answer No you don’t have to have WiFi or need it connected to wifi. I have wifi, but cannot get it to connect, and the only difference is that you have to turn it on manually. One push for vacuum, three pushes for mop. No wifi connection needed.

QuestionThe instructions read this has to be setup on hard surface with 40" clear on front and sides. Does anyone know if this is an absolute must? I would prefer to setup on carpet to be closer to wifi router and my space is less than the 40" to each side.

- Answer Is not necessary 40 but needs space to come out the doc station hope this helps
