• Hi Marc, My Box 2 sits between my modem and my devices and is working perfectly. I turned off the WiFi on my modem and using the Box 2 and my router. I don't see this config won't work for you. Bit Defender offers great support and easy to follow instructions in case you get stuck. Good luck!

• Should work but you will likely want to place your modem into bridge modem (disables routing and wifi). This product will take over those functions. Comcast support will likely be able to wlk you through this.
