• Yes on the ca. The front part of the suction extends out to get into tight spaces. I don't have a cat but it sucks up dog hair great

• The vac has a built-in ~3" extension on the tip to get in hard to reach places like seat-belt holes.

• I bought this vacuum for the purpose of vacuuming up kitty litter and it works very well! Not sure about the seats of a car, though I have vacuumed our couch seats with it. I imagine it would do rather well, especially since it has the lengthener part, but a hose vacuum would probably do noticeably better.

• This vacuum can reach up high, down low, and into tight spaces, and has a wide-mouth design that easily picks up large debris.
