It is possible the wrong batteries were installed. The operating temperatures are between -4° to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C), the batteries could lose power quickly if it is colder or warmer than those temperatures. So while there’s no direct camera‑to‑laptop connection, you can save and view the recordings on your laptop by exporting them or using removable storage from a compatible Sync Module.
