A:AnswerYou need at least 2Mbps download speeds for the cameras to function. If the cameras are the only thing on the wifi it could possibly work but it's going to slow. I used to have 7Mbps until I switched to cable and even then with other devices on the router I would get missed notification and when I would try to view live feed it would take over a min to connect to the cameras. We have 100Mbs now and there is no issues whatsoever but I would suggest no less than 7 Mbps. Of course you could get by with 2 but the functionality may not be the best. Also they don't work on the 5Ghz wifi. Only 2.4Ghz
A:AnswerI'm not really sure what you are asking. Yes you can run up to 10 cameras on one sync module as long as they are all within 100 ft from the module.
A:AnswerThe batteries that are shipped with the Blink cameras are not rechargeable and we do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they may cause issues with your cameras. The cameras are shipped with two non-rechargeable AA 1.5v Lithium batteries. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.
A:AnswerIt doesn't have to be right next to the router. My router is in the living room and my sync module is in my bedroom. Just figure wherever you can go in your house and still have decent WiFi on your phone you can place the sync module there.
A:AnswerAll Blink cameras record audio as well as video on the motion clips. However, the Blink indoor or Blink XT cameras do not have two-way (ability to speak into). This feature has been introduced into the new XT2 camera.
A:AnswerBlink does currently require a 2.4ghz WiFi-based Internet connection to operate. The cameras would need to be within 100ft of the sync module in any direction, as far as how far away the system can be from your wireless router would depend on the strength of your internet/WIFI re recommend at least three bars of signal strength.
