I use mine on the Auto cycle along with the AutoAir thing. The door always unlatched. Sometimes it opens about three inches, other times it stays in its unlatched position. Hope this helps.

If not the dishwasher will default to PureDry. The AutoAir Option works with the following Wash Cycles: Heavy, Auto, Normal and Speed 60.
