Beautifully designed and QUIET! I love the optional Air-Dry feature that opens the door at the end of drying to get the humidity out! This was a replacement for a high end brand that broke after 2 years. Glad I had the protection plan! This one looks like a winner!

Washes about the same as my old 20 GE, I was convinced by hubby that by paying more we would get more quality. Currently cannot get door to close.

Did lots of research prior to purchasing the 500 series Bosch, but I was blown away by it. It is so quiet that it’s nice the floor light tells you it’s running. The controls are simple and easy to understand. The third rack for silverware not only adds space but aids in cleaning. The dishes come out CLEAN and that’s with minimal rinsing. I was worried about the air dry but it really isn’t a big deal as long as you don’t block the air fan. One tip for everyone....if this is a replacement dishwasher, the Bosch requires a plug so if your last dishwasher was hard-wired you will need to have a plug installed. The Installer that Best Buy used not only did a great job but gave us a great tutorial on how to use our new dishwasher. It costs a little more but it is worth the extra dollars.

Quiet, high quality dishwasher that is great for the variety of disheS that I need to clean. Third rack and adjustable second shelf are awesome. Been extremely happy so far. Also, no heating element so top rack dishes can be placed on bottom shelf.

We are very happy with this dishwasher. Love the red light indicator that it's running since top panel is not visible when door is closed. Racks are versatile, we like the top drawer for cutlery. Unit is quiet, as advertised. Installation was courteous and thorough. We had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery even though the unit was available within days. Powdered detergent dispenses well without clumping. Dishes come out clean. We have so far not used any rinse aid, but don't notice spotting or other issues. We run it overnight with the door-popping option and things are dry in the morning.

I love this dishwasher. I'm serious. It's spooky quiet, cleans like a beast, and the third rack on top is the best. I removed the silverware baskets and this has made the washer so much more versatile. Big fan.

Very happy with this purchase, it replaced an older Bosch that finally crapped out after 13 years. The AutoAir feature is not something worth paying for extra in case that is something you are considering as part of your purchase - it requires a 2.5 hour cycle, no thanks. Also, need to be careful about overstuffing the middle rack near the back, it can cause the door to not lock and keeping popping open - minor quibble. In highlight, would have bought a cheaper model, but definitely a Bosh - the quality is unmatched.

WARNING!!! Unless you have very light dishes, this is not the dishwasher for you! This dishwasher worked fine for the first month but has been nothing but trouble since. We have had perpetual problems with the bottom rack falling off its rails onto the very bottom of the dishwasher. We are not overloading the dishwasher, nor are our dishes particularly heavy - they are standard size, commonly available basic dishes. For their first attempt at fixing this Bosch sent replacement wheels that were more conical. We waited 2 weeks for the wheels to arrive and in the meantime hand-washed most of our dishes. The wheels made a slight improvement; we could add a few dishes to the bottom rack without it falling off its rails, but we still had to leave it half empty in order to use it. For their second attempt at fixing this Bosch sent a repairman who spent about 10 minutes adjusting the bottom rack with pliers and essentially told me it was my fault for having dishes that were too heavy and that I should have bought a more expensive dishwasher, pointing out that his phone cost more than this dishwasher. Meanwhile, a few weeks after his visit, the bottom rack is starting to fall down again. I paid $944 for this dishwasher, and another $300 for the installation kit, haul-away charge for our older dishwasher and taxes, and it's not expensive enough? Even more frustrating is that this apparently a known problem with Bosch dishwashers going back several years at least. I didn't see anything about this in the general reviews, but once I had this problem I Googled it and saw I was not alone in dealing with this. If you have very light dishes and/or if you are willing to spend a bunch of time re-running loads, hand-washing and dealing with random issues, this extremely fussy dishwasher may be OK for you. It is quiet. But otherwise I would avoid this at all costs. Our older Miele did not have any problems with our dishes. We miss having a dishwasher that just did its job.

This dishwasher is very quiet and my dishes come out extremely clean without rinsing them first! I love the third row for large utensils and lids.

Sleek and quiet with a 3rd top rack to place large utensils. Cleans beautifully. Lower rack can be manipulated to hold large platters and baking dishe.

We recently replaced our dead kitchenaid dishwasher with the Bosch 500 series. At first I was hesitant because it didn't have a drying element on the bottom like our old kitchenaid. But after using it around a dozen times, I have to say, this dishwasher exceeds my expectations. It not only dries like our old dishwasher but the dishes comes out so much cleaner. We especially like the 3rd rack on top for our utensils. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

Incredibly quiet dishwasher. I like the laser light feature so I can see when it is still washing (solid light) or can’t be started (blinking light). The door opens when the cycle is finished, which I can see from far away and helps with drying. The top/third rack is so useful! This washer must have jet dry to function properly.

We’re loving our new Bosch dishwasher so far. It’s much quieter than our previous model and has been doing a great job cleaning. The flexible racks and ability to put any item on the bottom are super helpful when trying to place items in to maximize your load.

Had this installed 2 years ago, first year was good, after that the issues started, auto air function wouldn't open the door, couple months later random leak from left corner of door, and now 2 years after purchase the door won't latch all the way, leading to it randomly shutting down mid cycle, or failing to start at all. Replaced, latch, hinges, levers, and still same issue. Mind you, this dishwasher was bought to replace ANOTHER 2 YEAR OLD BOSCH that had door leak issues that nobody could figure out. I have had it with these finicky and temperamental Bosch dishwashers and their flimsy doors.

So far so good. This thing is SOOOOO quiet. Loudest part is the water going into to the sink. lol. Put some extra dirty soup pots in to test it out and..... came perfectly clean!!! That's the power of german engineering!

Love it so far, even though it has only been a month. The dishwasher works great and is very quiet. I was skeptical about the drying since no heating coil on the bottom but it dries better than all my previous dishwashers that had a heating coil.

The "air dry" feature is a bit odd in that the cycle must be ended manually, but I like the energy savings that it represents. I also love the third top rack for long knives, utensils, etc.
