- Answer Hi John, this dishwasher does not utilize a steam vent unless the AutoAir function is engaged. With the AutoAir, the door will pop itself open after the condensation drying cycle has completed.

QuestionWhat are the profile dimensions of the handle? I.E.: How far out does it protrude from the face of the door? What is the dimension from the top of the door to the top of the handle? And the dimension from the top to bottom of the handle?

QuestionI have a Bosch 500 series and like it but does it have the option to air dry? I just want to.open the door when done washing and let the dishes dry. Can't find the answer in the manual.

QuestionDoes the cutout width for where this dishwasher is installed need to be any wider than the product width of 24 inches?

- Answer 24" is the cutout needed for the dishwasher. I think it can be as small as 23 3/4" and still fit.

- Answer HI George, thank you for your question. The water connection for Model:SHXM65Z55N is in the back of the unit, it also requires an elbow connection with 3/4” female hose threads on one end that fits your water supply line (copper tubing, compression fitting, or braided hose) on the other.

QuestionCan't find instructions to winterize this unit. With our old DW, I used an air compressor to blow out supply line and ran RV Antifreeze thru the drain. Will this approach work with this model? Will the inlet valve stay open until air comes through? TIA

QuestionThe bottom rack keeps slipping off the track and into the tub which makes it hard to pull the rack up and out, and also disables the lower water distributor from moving during wash cycle if the rack falls after closing the door

QuestionDoes the AutoAir open the door under all selections , We used our Bosch 500 for the first time and the door did't open, all though all the dishes were clean and dry

- Answer I use mine on the Auto cycle along with the AutoAir thing. The door always unlatched. Sometimes it opens about three inches, other times it stays in its unlatched position. Hope this helps.
