This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cool stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. Although you cannot turn off the PureDry® condensation drying process, you can turn off the AutoAir® setting. This is an additional drying feature, which automatically releases the door at the end of the cycle to let fresh air in for a better dry.
