There is a modular plug (provided with the dishwasher) that can be used on either side of the dishwasher so no matter what side your power supply is. The modular plug is pre-wired to a box, it is from this box you would tie in the hard wire from your old unit. NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO POWER GOING TO THE KITCHEN AREA THE IS INTENDED FOR THE DISHWASHER UNTIL YOUR INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
