The HCP86641UC has the following overall appliance dimensions (width of canopy included) (HxWxD): 24 9/16" – 38 7/8" / 28 1/4" – 42 9/16" x 36" x 19 11/16". If your installation area is not able to accommodate the appliance's dimensions modifications may need to be made.

Q: QuestionThis says I will need a charcoal kit if I do not vent it outside the house. What are the additional accessories and parts I need to have this work and installed?

• A:Answer My vent is vented outside but if your vent is not then a charcoal filter is needed in place of the mess filter that is used to vent outside. This will help contain grease and other impurities in the air from your cooktop. You shouldn't need anything further that I'm aware of.

Q: QuestionAre there any clearances I need to consider when designing my wall cabinets around this hood fan? Like, may I place it in the 36" space between my wood cabinets? Or should I allow an inch or two between the hood and the side of each cabinet?
