Hi Glen, thank you for your question and interest in Model:HEI8056U. This Slide-in Range is designed to slide in on top of the countertops. The top extends .75" on each side. Here are the dimensions: Overall appliance dimensions (HxWxD)(in.) 36 1/2"–38" x 31 1/2" x 28 7/8". Required cutout size (HxWxD)(in.) 35 1/2"–37" x 30" x 25".
