• A:Answer It 100% is compatible, i have this exact setup at home! Bose TV Speaker plus Bass Module 500 WIRED and good lord it sounds so amazing! Why would Bose put a "bass" port on back if not for a 500 or 700 module? They must be refferring to it needing a wired connection, TV Speaker doesnt have WiFi capabilities like the 300 500 700 900 Soundbars all do. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionI'm embarrassed to ask this. We just connected our Bose 500 subwoofer to our Bose 500 soundbar. Is sound supposed to come out of the subwoofer, or does the subwoofer simply change the quality of the sound coming out of the soundbar?

Q: QuestionHi. Is there a difference in sound quality between the Bose Bass Module 500 and 700? Or only in power? My room is 18 m. do I have enough bass 500?

• A:Answer I had the same question and demoed both. The 700 has a lot more power and has a larger driver so not only will the sound be a lot deeper, it will be a lot louder, so yes there is a difference in sound quality between the two. I have a small room about 12 feet by 12 so the 500 fits perfectly for me. If the room was any larger the 500 might struggle to fill it with sound. if you’re dealing with a large room like 18 meters, you’d certainly want the 700 and maybe even 2. i preferred the 700’s sound hands down to the 500, ( which is still a killer sub btw) i just didn’t go with it because i thought it would be overkill for my small room but after hearing both, there is certainly a huge difference how the 700 hits the low notes vs the 500.
