A:AnswerYes - but it won't get real loud in a big room. Buy a stereo receiver with a decent set of speakers and you'll be much happier. Don't get me wrong, I love my Bose Solo 5 and I drive it with a 27“ TV and an Echo Dot but they're in a smaller room without home theatre implications.
A:AnswerI am using the following items via bluetooth with the Solo 5:
Pixel XL
Galaxy Note 4
Iphone 6
Motorola Droid Turbo
all connect flawlessly to this device.
A:AnswerI just plugged everything into the TV inputs. If you can get the sound to come out of your TV, it will come through the sound bar. Otherwise, I think you're out of luck.
A:AnswerYou would have to have a very small tv. It is 3.4" deep. It fits nicely in front the tv, unless your IR input is located there, like my tv is so I put the Bose behind the tv and it works great. There is an optional wall mount kit for mounting it above or below your TV.
A:AnswerThere is not a coaxial input on the sound bar. There is a 3.5 mm jack, digital RCA, and optical. The coaxial will connect to your cable box or tv, and you can run an audio cable from one of the outputs on your tv to the sound bar.
A:AnswerMy BOSE soundbar is on top of a very tall credenza in a room with cathedral ceiling (10-12 ft). When sitting in a chair or laying in bed, the sound clarity is like I was sitting with my ear right next to the speaker. I don't think you will have any problems.
A:AnswerAny TV with an audio output would be able to connect to this system and there are very few models out there which wouldn't have that type of connection. In the event that your particular TV model doesn't have an audio output, you could still use the system by running devices like your cable/satellite box straight to the system.
A:AnswerIt should sound fine right through your TV, I don't think there would be a difference, whatever sound is coming from TV will come from sound bar. I have my sound bar connected through the optical input on my TV.
A:AnswerThere's digital optical output. It will make great surround sound and make base sound. It doesn't make loud deep base sound but for me it's enough to enjoy with my movies.
