- Answer Thank you for the excellent question! While the SoundTouch 130 will create a room-filling sound even with a 5.1 input, it will not deliver a true 5.1 experience as there are no rear speakers. For that, we would recommend one of our 5.1 systems such as the Lifestyle 650. Thanks!

QuestionWill this system let me control the volume of music background, as well as the dialog? I have trouble hearing the dialog over the music.

- Answer You have to hook up your DVD player to the Bose receiver with an HDMI cord. Same for goes for cable box, Roku, game system...etc.

- Answer All Bose Home Theatre systems are fully integrated and designed to work with the matched components. A larger subwoofer is not available or compatible.

- Answer You may add additional speakers to stream Bluetooth and WiFi sources however the TV sound would not be transmitted.

Questionis the unit learnable, not the remoteI want to know if the unit can learn to respond to my cable box remote, not weather the unit remote can operated my cable box . My cable box remote has many more features (i.e. listening) and I want to use it to operate the Bose unit.

- Answer I used the system with a Samsung TV and a Dish Network Hopper. Both synced up perfectly with the Dish Remote, so that I now operate the TV, Hopper and Bose all through the Dish Remote. Works great for me.
