• I've had mine for 18 months, listening an average of four hours and recharging daily, with no problems. The batteries are not user-replaceable. You might be able to send it back to Bose for new batteries, but you won't need to for a long time.

• I have only had mine about a month but so far they hold a charge as advertised and are rechargeable.
