A:AnswerFind about 20 5/8" washers and slip them on the lower part of the shaft (cheap). The weight provides much better stability if it's blowing around in the wind.
A:AnswerI would not use it for the G7X. I purchased this for use with my G7X and I didn't feel it was sturdy enough for the camera. The camera will physically fit on the stand, but the camera seems to be more weight than the stand was intended for. And the G7X is far to expensive for me to use such a cheaply made tripod.
A:AnswerThe phone holder will expand to 3.5". It's a tight fit at that. 3.25 would be a safer call unless it's in a case to give the phone more rigidity. The tension is pretty strong when stretched to the max. Minimum width is 2.25"
A:AnswerYes. the phone holder expands to 3 1/4" easily. 3.5" is a tight squeeze but the pixel is just over 3" wide so you'd be fine. The remote is bluetooth so should work with any phone.
A:AnswerAbsolutely NOT! it is not nearly strong enough for a camera that size. I didn't feel it was strong enough for my G7X. I would never put my M50 on it, let alone a bigger camera.
A:AnswerThe clip holds the phone on the side not at the top or bottom of the phone. In a vertical (portrait) position, the cable will not bend.
If you shoot in horizontal positions, I would use a cable with a 90 degree angle, to prevent the bend.
