A:AnswerNo they are not paintable, we asked before purchase and it doesn't state on description that they can be painted like some other speakers. We purchased white for a light beige wallpaper, looks ok, I wish they were paintable.
A:AnswerIn my experience, you will need an amplifier with at least 80-120w of RMS (Continuous) power per channel at an 8Ω impedance rating to get the most out of these speakers. Your speakers need to have adequate power to realize their advertised potential. Just remember if you add two of these 8Ω speakers to one channel the resistance will change to 4Ω. So if you find a two-channel amp make sure it's 4Ω stable if you plan on using 2 speakers per channel.
A:AnswerSorry, no idea, my husband installed them, they are hanging on the wall not inside. He just used the speaker wire we had with our floor speakers.
