I live in a second floor apartment with carpet. The downstairs neighbors have stated they don’t hear the machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The noise it makes sounds like a fan. You will likely cause a lot of noise due to the floor boards squeeking because this does simulate a stair climber so you are going from one foot to the other. Vibration mat would probably help a little but not sure if it would cause instability issues for the unit since I've never used a vibration mat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The machine will produce a whirring fan noise in use, not too loud. I have mine on carpet/cement, so I can’t say for sure how loud on wooden flooring. I suspect that it would create some noise and vibration when in use, but it is a pretty smooth motion as the pedals ride on rails, so there is no Impacting of the parts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend you use a matt under your M8, its very sturdy and a firm, strong machine, but it would help to have a matt I think with that matt it would reduce the vibrations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If balanced correctly it shouldn't make any noise. I have mine set up in a trailer and no vibration or floor noise at all.
