Yes it I'll fit, but I would suggest getting a different tipe of holder since this is kinda bulky it could obstruct your visibility really easy

Yes, grips from sides. I have hands free in my truck and use maps for nav. Holder holds from sides and does not block view of phone screen.

Yes, the iPhone 7 will fit. The bracket is open on the top and bottom, so length does not matter. The sides expand to adequate distance apart to make room for an iPhone 7, and then you simply squeeze the sides together to grip the phone. To release it, you press the green button on the side of the holder, and the sides expand back to fully open position, releasing the phone.

It should fit the mount. The mount is pretty flexible.

I don't know for sure but my wife's 6s with the Mophie juice pack fits fine with lots of room for expansion when installed.
