Will it work on the note 5 null

Did not fit my wife's Note with an otter box case

Note 5 will work with it. I've seen it sit in there fine.

If your note 5 is bigger than a Galaxy 7, i dont think it will fit.

It is a modem, so you will still need a router to set up your wireless network at home. The router will connect with the note5. If the note 5 have a LAN cable connection, then you may be able to connect directly to the note 5 but the router is easier.

I would use a different model. This bracket does not work well with larger phones, or even smaller phones with thick cases.

I don't think so, I have a Galaxy S4, and does not expand more than it's size
