A:AnswerWe haven’t noticed that it gets hot underneath. Ours sits directly on the counter top and no problems. I’d be more attentive to the cabinets overhead as the heat rises.
Not sure what to say about your weight “question”. I’ve never weighed it. Are you saying you weighed it and got a different measurement than the data on the website?
A:AnswerYes - there is an internal light that turns on automatically the last 30 seconds of the cooking cycle. If you want to turn it on sooner, you push the little light bulb button on the right under the red start button. The light only stays on for 30 seconds at a time.
FYI - love this toaster oven. Bagels have never been better.
A:AnswerOur model is easy to clean with warm soapy water. Followed up with clean water to remove any residue. I didn't attempt to clean upper heating coils, and I removed racks prior to cleaning interior and unplugged the unit.
