- Answer It definitely has a convection fan, which you can turn on or off. As for the type of heating, it has 5 heating elements - totaling 1800 watts. From the manufacturer's description: " Smart Oven Pro Convection Toaster/Pizza Oven" "Convection Cooking - Yes"

- Answer Like everything else, this is made in China. The company is based in Australia. Don't let that stop you from buying it. I have owned the unit for 9 months and it gets used as much as 3 times a day.

- Answer It is not recommended that the Breville® BOV900 Smart Oven® Air be placed on a bakers rack. The surface should be smooth and flat for proper stability. So long as the microwave cart is stable and has ample room for the oven plus the recommended open space on all sides it will be fine.
