QuestionWhat is the measurement at the bottom of the unit from the side to the start of the ventopening? My cabinets have a 1" moulding at the bottom, & I'm wondering if I need to remove it before installation. There's 6 inches of clearance above the moulding.

- Answer Thank you for your question regarding the GLA1363SS range hood. The measurement of the 36" wide model is 35-15/16". From the side of the hood measuring in toward the beginning of the rectangular duct opening is 13-1/32".

QuestionHi, I can easily see the full depth measurements for this vent is 19.68. Can you please tell me the depth measurement for the portion that fits under the cabinet? Thanks

- Answer Thank you for your question on the GLA1363WW. This is designed to be installed under standard 12" cabinets. However, the total width before the slope is 14-3/16".
