can you scan pictures from a book null

This device is intended to scan single sheets only I believe. The opening for scanning is sized for that. I do not believe you can scan from a book or anything larger that a single sheet of paper. If you want to scan things larger (thicker) than a single sheet of paper you may want to look into a flat bed scanner. Another answer could be to photograpg what you want to scan. Good luck.
