“Does this printer work on wifi with an Arris modem/router?”

• The two prior answers are incorrect: the MFC-J995DW does NOT work with ARRIS-brand routers/modems. We upgraded our router/modem to an ARRIS BGW320-505 model this summer, and we've had multiple issues trying to the printer since. We now can't use the printer at all (haven't be able to for several weeks). After multiple emails, online chats, and a lengthy phone call with a Brother customer service rep today, the rep told me this Brother machine (maybe all Brother machines?) aren't compatible with ARRIS routers. So, now I have either buy a different printer that will be compatible with the ARRIS router, or figure out some other option. We are NOT changing routers.

• Yes, the Brother MFC-J995DW is compatible with any brand of wireless routers.
