• It comes with starter cartridges. They will not last very long at all. If you plan to do a lot of printing out of the gate, I suggest you save yourself a trip to store and buy ink when you purchase the printer.

• No you do not. The color cartridges are full. However you have about 80% of the black ink left after you run a test.
