Yes. Go to your printer details in your computer and change setting to black only. The printer will respond to that command. Yes, but the color will be off if printing in color.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can change on your computer to print only in grayscale at the time of printing. My black ink cartridge ran out and the printer will not print until I replace that cartridge. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CARTRIDGES THAT COME WITH THE PRINTER (PGI-2200) ARE CORRECT. THE BEST BUY WEBSITE UNDER THE MACHINE'S ACCESSORIES PAGE INCORRECTLY LISTS THE 1200 CARTRIDGES. NO ONE IN TOWN STOCKS THE PGI-2200 SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRAS ON HAND.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I print only in black. Because of this the color ink never runs out, just the black. Not sure if this printer is the same as my previous HP, but on that one if any ink is empty, then no printing. I suspect that's the same with this one....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Certainly. You can select color option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can print in black only, but, I think. you have to keep all the colors in working order. I haven't had it long enough to know for sure, but my last Brother printer worked that way. If 1 color was empty it would not print until you replaced the empty cartridge. It lasted 10 years before finally dying. That's why I stick with Brother.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How many cartridges does this brother take?
