QuestionIs there any difference at all between the L2750-DW vs. the L2750-DWXL, other than that one comes with an extra toner cartridge? When I do a “Compare” on your site, there are some differences(ex:one indicates that you can print envelopes & one doesn’t).

- Answer Exactly. The XL is a bunch of toner cartridges. You better but them separately from a low cost supplier.

QuestionWhat are the main advantage of this printer "MFC-L2750DW" over DCP-L2550DW other than: LCD display, memory 256 vs 128 MB, and has Fax. If nothing else, are these changes worth the 100$ difference?

- Answer I own a MFC-L2750DW. It depends what your needs are. I own a home business so having EVERYTHING (copy, scan, print and fax) from one machine is beneficial. I also prefer laser quality. If all you need is printer those can be had for as little as $20-$50. If you need the whole real meal deal then get the "MFC-L2750DW"

QuestionWhen the printer is connected but sleeping, do I need to press the on button to wake it up before giving it a printing task? I get the “No AirPrint printer found” message, unless I press the power button on the printer.

- Answer Yes, the Brother MFCL2750DW is compatible with Mac OS 14. The machine will only connect to the 2.4 GHz wireless band. The Brother machine will not "see" or connect to the 5 GHz band of your router.

- Answer Your Brother MFCL2750DW machine will only connect to the 2.4 GHz wireless band. The Brother machine will not "see" or connect to the 5 GHz band of your router. Your computer can be connected to the 5 GHz band network and be able to print or scan (depending on your router's specifications), to the Brother machine connected to the 2.4 GHz band. If you experience repeated offline or lost connection issues with your Brother machine, the mesh network’s name (SSID) must be separated into different bands and the Brother machine must be connected to the 2.4 GHz network.

QuestionWhat is the quality of the toner? Will it smudge when you print? I have a different brother printer and print a lot of letters and have noticed that when folded the print will leave marks on the white parts of the paper. I have tried lowering the density.

- Answer The Brother MFC-L2750DW standard toner cartridge yields approximately 1,200 pages. Smudges on printed pages are usually caused by foreign material inside the machine and may require cleaning.
