• A:Answer The black toner on comes in one size TN-221. The CMY cartridges come in high yield and are numbered TN-225. I too wish there was a higher yield black cartridge. The TN-221BK yields 2500 pages. Standard The TN-221CM or Y yield 1400 pages High Yield The TN-225CM or Y yield 2200 pages

• A:Answer 2,200 pages is the estimated life of the cartridge, and that estimate assumes 5%-6% black ink per page printed. So if you're doing simple text, that's about right, but if you're putting gray scale pictures on your pages you won't approach that many pages. I think I got ~1,400 out of my initial toner cartridge, but my kids use it for a lot of their school & scout projects.

• A:Answer I don't see any explicit warranty, but I'm sure that if you can show a gross defect, they'd replace it. You may have a problem trying to get them to replace your $25,000 wool carpet that you spilled toner on, so I'd be careful.
