Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Hope this helps!   • QuestionHow do I remove the “cooling system off”? Also water wont come out of the dispenser. Any ideas?

    • Answer Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. We want to first apologize that water isn't coming out of your dispenser. We can imagine how aggravating this is and we're happy to help. To turn off the cooling system, access settings from the home screen. Next, page over and tap the cooling system on. Finally, press done to return to the home screen. We're sorry to say this setting cannot be removed if that's what you're asking. For the issue with your dispenser, we suggest the following tips: 1) Verify that the water line to the refrigerator is turned on. A saddle valve is used to connect the water supply line coming from the house plumbing to the fridge and the valve must be fully open for the refrigerator to receive water. 2) Make sure the dispenser cradle has been held down for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the water reservoir to fill completely. Once water is dispensed, you can purge air from the water lines by dispensing water for 5 minutes or in the amount of 2 gallons. 3) On models with a water filter, a clogged or partially clogged filter will result in no water or slow running water from the dispenser. Please change the filter. 4) The controls may be set too cold. Set the refrigerator control to a warmer temperature setting and wait 24 hours. If this advice doesn't help, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). All the best. - Guy@GEA

  • QuestionWhat is the manufacture warranty on this fridge? Is the warranty the same for both new and open box?

All as-is appliances carry a functional warranty only, however rest assured that they carry the same functional warranties as do products sold brand new.   • QuestionDoes this refrigerator have an ice maker and drawer in the freezer?

The ice maker is not located in the bottom freezer drawer, but ice is instead dispensed through the left refrigerator door. There is not a separate ice maker or storage bin in the freezer, but we are confident the dispenser ice would be a great fit for your needs!   • QuestionIve noticed this refrigerator is flagged on the california prop 65 warning list. What chemicals are present in the fridge, where, & how much exposure are we talking about? Love the design but dont want to take any long term health risks for an appliance.

One such law is California Proposition 65, enacted by California in 1986 (Prop 65). This state law requires companies to provide a warning for thousands of consumer products, foods, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, enclosed parking facilities, amusement parks, furniture, and other everyday items. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply.
