The French Door single oven may be installed in a cabinet alone or above a warming drawer and/or below a Microwave/Advantium. However, the French Door single oven is not allowed under a countertop or cooktop. Install the oven only with specific models listed on the label located on top of the oven (GE, Cafe, and Monogram Advantium & Microwave Ovens (built-in and built-in capable). It has not been tested or approved for installation under other brand microwaves (KitchenAid). Always refer to individual Installation Instructions packed with each product for specific requirements.   • QuestionII just ordered GE Series CT9070SHSS 30" Built -In single French doors convection oven to re place my Whirlpool 500 series under counter 30" electric oven. Can I just slide the GE Cafe in under the gas burners that sit on top of the counter?

  • QuestionHi, Can I install this below the cafe electric cooktop? Also does it need to have a space between sides in order to open the door? Thank you

    • Answer Hi Tess! There does need to be a bit of a space between the protrusion of the cabinets and the doors of the unit to allow them to open properly. As for installing this unit underneath a cooktop, we are not finding information within the installation instructions that cover that. They do cover installing this unit below a microwave or above a warming drawer though.   • QuestionHow far from the perpendicular wall must this be installed for the doors to open to where the oven is functional and racks can be slid out? Our wall oven cabinet opening is 3" from the side wall. The side wall only comes out 13" to the door way opening.
