- Answer From my knowledge I believe you won’t need it considering you have the Rebel T7 and it’s already an EF/EF-S mount, this lens adapter is meant for the RF mount cameras like the R50, R10, R5, R6, R7, R8, Rp, R, etc. so these cameras can have EF lenses.

- Answer This adapter works on Canon R mount cameras so that you can adapt EF lenses. I am able to use all my EF lenses (that I bought to use on my Canon 6D) on my Canon RP. I believe you would have to purchase another adapter to use on the Canon 6D to adapt other type/brand lenses.

- Answer No this adapter is for RF mount type cameras therefore will not work w. Your 6d m2. This adapter is for RF to EF not the other way around.
