A:Answer Depends on how you are shooting, if you are doing handheld, there is a possibility of blurred images in the low light places. The lens is not capable of a very large aperture, meaning you will have to use a slower shutter speed that risks blurring your images. This could also mean using a higher ISO which will create noise in your pictures. If the wedding is outside with great lighting, I don't see why it would not work. Otherwise, if inside, make sure there is good lighting and test it out in the place before actually shooting for an event.
