- Answer If either cartridge is low, it has to be replaced in order to print. Even if you’re just printing black, there has to be a color ink cartridge with a useable amount of ink

- Answer Apparently, so, because my black is showing about 10% & color is showing about 60% of ink but neither works. It’s an ink scam! Better to buy one with less problems with ink. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I purchased it.

- Answer The Canon PIXMA TR4720 comes with a black and color cartridges and a power cord. If you need to hook it up to your ethernet then you need to provide that yourself I very much enjoy my printer very much.
