I don't use Drop Box, but I'm familiar with the ways that programs (apps/applications/software) deal with scanners. It's not the scanner that's the question -- it's the program. I've just been to the Drop Box FAQ pages, and the claim there is that Drop Box will scan documents directly into 'itself', so you shouldn't have to create any intermediate files and then post them. I suspect the Drop Box app has some dialog that not only does the scan, but makes sure you provide a name and keywords for the scanned document, and probably also set access controls. If you are using Drop Box, poke around in the menus and see what you can find; the answer is probably that direct; if not, consult the manuals, talk to your IT staff, or contact the Drop Box folks.
