- Answer No. You will need the Ef 50mm 1.8. As long as it says Ef instead of rf it will work. Rf series lenses are for the canon mirrorless line.

- Answer This isn't a macro lens. There is a 35mm RF macro lens by Canon that is reasonably priced, or there is also 100mm RF macro.

Questionis that lens compatible with EOS 90D?

- Answer This lens is not compatible with the EOS 90D. The 90D utilizes an EF mount while this lens is an RF mount. The RF mount is slightly larger so I believe it would be very difficult to adapt it. Also the 90D is a crop sensor camera and this lens is a full frame lens. While it is possible to use full frame lens on crop sensor camera you would not be using the lens to its full capability.
