Does it have a side access pocket? null

For the iPad area, yes. There is a small pocket on the side as well. Camera area does not.

@Oby - Tha Case Logic CPL108 Camera and Tablet Computer Backpack has a side pocket for accessories on one side and tripod / monopod strap, on the other side. The backpack does not have a pocket on the side that allows access to the main compartment. Thank you for the question. Enjoy !
