it’s a bit of a squeeze, but you could make it work. I have the same camera, and I just detach my lens for a better fit though.

Yes I have the. Anon 6d with the 24/105 mm and it fits perfectly

Believe so. We have the T7i with the 135 zoom and there is about 1 1/2 inches without letting the lens touch bottom. The holster is adjustable by velco so you can assure camera lens doesn't bottom in the case. If it turns out too tight, BB is very generous on returns.

@ Deb - Assuming that you are using a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens on your Canon t6i camera body, then, yes, the Case Logic KDH101Black Kontrast DSLR Zoom Holster will accommodate your camera with the lens on it. Enjoy
