“I read that the bottom is waterproof. What about the top and sides? If I were caught outside in a rainstorm, would this bag protect my camera from the water?”

@Daniel : The base of the Case Logic KDH101 Kontrast DSLR Zoom Holster is water-resistant. The dura-base is to offer the user a stable, worry free option when placing the holster down into dew covered grass or to protect the case from a random spill. The case is made with water resistant fabric that will endure a brief rain. It is not intended to protect bag and contents from a prolonged rainstorm.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Daniel: This is my third Case Logic bag. The bottom has a thick rubber base. The material is at least "weather resistant." As long as you keep the bag zippered, then you should have no problems with the weather ... I never did. Regards
