- Answer Yes, you can link your Google Assistant with myQ. You will receive notifications when the door open/close and the ability to close the door. If you would like to open the door, the My app will need to be used. There is no fee for linking MyQ with Google Assistant. Thank you!

- Answer No. It is actually another wireless transmitter. When it gets a request over the internet, it effectively pushes a button on its own internal transmitter.

QuestionI have a Craftsman from 2012. I can't get this to pair with it. It has a grey learn button and this color is not listed in the setup. I tried ALL the colors, but no luck. Anybody get this to successfully pair with a (Craftsman) grey learn button?

- Answer I also had trouble getting mine to pair! Give them a call, she walked me through the entire process and it did not work. We had to do it 3 times. Our problem was that the app kept deleting the actual device and there was nothing in the app to pair WITH. Make sure it is added with the serial number in the app and that it STAYS entered during the process. But again, a call to customer support will answer all your questions.

- Answer I just use 2 cheap wyze cameras, I do have to switch back and forth with the apps, but I am REALLY glad I didn't spend any money on MyQ compatible cameras... this this is a piece of junk, and your cameras can prove it. Door is open when app says it's closed or vice versa.

- Answer Yes with your own remote by clicking the button. You do need to put a just a tad of finger effort into it by pushing the remote or opening the app and pushing the garage open button. You do need some type of body part whichever you want to use.

- Answer I'm sure it will not work in all garage openers. It works in my genie. Please check the garage openers listed as compatible or just call the companies concerned.

- Answer I am working on that now trying to figure out it does with Google assistant and if you use nest w Google app or the nest app. The nest app I do not believe so. The Google home I have nest inside cameras and Lorex outside cameras hooked up and now seeing if garage will connect have found a way yet only thru assistant.
