A:Answer Yes, you don't HAVE to connect them to the WiFi extender, you can connect them directly to the router, whichever gives each camera the best signal. As long as they are all on the same network. And if needed, you can always add another standard WiFi extender. I use a 2.4 and a 5 GHz one. 2.4 has better penetrating abilities, but 5 GHz handles more data, faster. Balance as needed.
