A:AnswerThere are numerous different chimes from a number of bell sounds to chime sounds as well as seasonal sounds for Halloween and Christmas. I would say there has to be at least 20 different tones to choose from and if you have multiple chime pro (like I do) you can have different tones on each unit.
A:AnswerI placed mine about 40 feet from my floodlight and it seemed to lose connection and when it did connect, the speed it provided didn't deliver clean video from the floodlight cam. I ended up connecting everything "Ring" to my Orbi network as it covers my house and most of my yard.
A:AnswerYes, you don't HAVE to connect them to the WiFi extender, you can connect them directly to the router, whichever gives each camera the best signal. As long as they are all on the same network. And if needed, you can always add another standard WiFi extender. I use a 2.4 and a 5 GHz one. 2.4 has better penetrating abilities, but 5 GHz handles more data, faster. Balance as needed.

A:AnswerYes, and as long as they are not too far from each other. I have found it is better to daisy chain the Chime Pro's between routers and devices.
A:AnswerIt can be set up to act only as a chime by linking the cameras without connecting to the chime pro network but the chime itself will still be connected to your wifi since that is how it works.
A:AnswerYes, the Ring software let's you assign doorbell(s) to more than 1 chime. I have two doorbells and 3 chimes in my house. Both doorbells ring on all 3 chimes plus on cell phone through the app. The only bad thing is you cant assign a different doorbell chime for 2 different doorbells...i.e. say if you have a front door and back door. Both will only ring the same chime. :( Ring needs to add this functionality...
